LAZARUS INSTALLED AT FRESNO ART MUSEUM
Lazarus, Cedric Wentworth's most traveled sculpture (having last been installed in Berlin), has come to rest permanently in front of the Fresno Art Museum. Unlike our last installation in Bakersfield, CA, Lazarus went in without a hitch.

16-FOOT KINETIC SCULPTURE COMPLETED
Cedric has placed the final touches on his most unorthodoxed bronze and steel sculpture yet, 'Garuda's Nest'. Constructions of steel plate and bronze figures rotate atop two vertical steel rails. From afar the overall composition of the sculpture resembles two palm trees. Each spinning element, using 1-inch thick steel, weighs over a ton. Cedric's engineer and friend, Tony LoGiudice, assisted in the design of the custom-fabricated ball and socket joints.

LATEST MUSEUM ACQUISITION
The Bakersfield Museum of Art has acquired Gilgamesh for its permanent collection. The fourteen and a half foot sculpture permanently rests upon a concrete pad in the museum's beautiful Tejon Ranch Sculpture Garden. This particular installation has proven to be one of Wentworth's most complex because of the great care required to traverse the garden's soft turf and foliage.

NEW LANDMARK IN DAVIS
Cedric's steel and bronze Saguaro is now on display in front of the John Natsoulas Gallery in Davis, California. The sculpture is featured prominently at the entranceway to the city located at 1st St. and Richards Blvd.

UPLIFT INSTALLED IN CLOVIS
Cedric's latest steel and bronze work titled Uplift was installed in Clovis, California at the Sierra Vista Shopping Center. The main feature of the sculpture is a vertical i-beam made of corten steel, the same corrosion-resistant alloy used for the hulls of metal ships. Attached to the beam are three bronze figures of varying scale.

"GREATEST AMERICAN PAINTING" INSTALLED IN CENTRAL VALLEY
Wentworth's fifteen by eight foot masterpiece, The Edge Of The World, was purchased by a Central Valley art collector. She has installed the work in her living room while considering a request to donate the work to a Northern California museum.
